Watch Chance The Rapper s Brilliant Performance On Come Back Barack

“Every night, I turn the tv on and cry. I say why I feel like we’re all gonna die. So, come back Barack.”

Chance the Rapper and SNL fans were in for a major treat last night after waiting for weeks to see Chance host the show - and he did not under deliver. Of the multiple sketches that Chance put on throughout the night, the song, “Come Back Barack” was a great one where he was joined by Kenan Thompson and Chris Redd to form a 90’s R&B-esque group called De-Von-Tré.

The group channels the styles of R&B golden era artists like Jodeci and sang an ode to how the county is in shambles without our former president.

Donned in attire reminiscent of Boyz II Men The groups sings:

“I know there are other democrats, more than just a few, but when I think of change, you’re the change I want is you.”

Mid-way through the song the group pleads for Barack to come back outside in the rain and Kenan comes forward to do a slow-voiced talking style made famous by Michael McCary.

“I guess we’re stuck with this dude for a while. Maybe you can come back and make a speech.”
